It has become increasingly challenging to raise physically and spiritually healthy children in a complex culture. In each of the following four teaching sections, the teaching will focus on the current scientific information available and apply it alongside God's Word. The teaching sections are written by Dr. Mary Ezzo. They offer encouragement and fresh perspective. Remember, it is not by accident that our children are here at this exact moment in time when culture seems to lack all boundaries. There is a perfect plan for their life! God is trusting us to stand firm as parents and not lose sight of the bigger picture. Ron Hutchcraft in his book, The Battle for a Generation gives us honest Christian perspective when he writes, "God has chosen them to live in this generation where the battle has grown more intense. God has chosen them to be on the front lines of the most important days of the battle. We can tell today's young people, 'we already know who has the winning power in the battle. The only way we'll lose is if you don't show up or if you surrender'" Don't ever, for even a moment, believe the lie that you are not important as a parent. And, don't ever believe the lie that it is impossible to help a wayward child get back on track. If you are discouraged, seek the counsel and encouragement of other Christian parents.
